Greetings:)
My name is Robyn. I am a certified art and technology educator residing in the City of Rochester, New York.
I have a Master's degree from Nazareth College in art education and a Bachelor's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a lot of other schooling as well:).

I have been an artist for my entire life. I intended to be just an artist but I found myself being drawn to help others in their creative pursuits and thus, decided to become an art teacher. Helping others gain or explore the desire to create is really an inspiring thing to do. So I went to Grad school for art education. I loved it. However as luck may have it I did not find a job in the art education field. Instead I was hired to be a career and technical education teacher. So now I teach graphic design, web development and independent study art classes- (Not exactly what i signed up for, but hey:))- at the Edison Technology Complex in Rochester-. I have found this experience to be extremely rewarding even though it is not my direct passion in life. By default I am first and foremost a mural painter. Painting and building things are truly my passions in life but i also really like a lot of other things too. As a result I founded a company called Art for Everyone . This organization has had several collaborators throughout its tenure in the Rochester area including Keith Simmons, Gretchen Ettlie, and Eric Grace.
Art for Everyone is determined to help bridge the many divides that exist in urban areas through art, technology, innovation, and collaboration.
I have developed and co developed several curricula that have been published by the City
of Rochester as innovative/cutting edge programs for students of the
Rochester area. I love challenges and discovery (not to
mention the mountains!)
Below are links to some of the programs that I have developed in whole or part:
The South Wedge Digital Ripple
The Rochester Hamamatsu Portal Collaboration
The Rochester Digital Ripple Project
International Digital Art Tennis
I am committed to bringing a new level of excellence in education through art, technology, collaboration, and the creative expression of self in all disciplines of study. Art for Everyone is a Rochester Based Organization that may be commissioned to develop tailored, site-specific projects and/or programs for schools, communities and organizations.
Here are some of the cooperating and partnering organizations of Art for Everyone:
Rochester Institute of Technology, The Rochester City School District, The City of Rochester, South Wedge Planning Committee, ArtPeace, RASA
